Now a consultant, he has spent more than 50 years in public safety as both a fire officer and 9-1-1 director. During that time, he has chaired and served on numerous committees that produced national and state legislation that helped protect the public. He has managed multi-million technology projects, and published more than 300 articles, 2 books, and contributed chapters to industry texts. He has responded to and managed many horrific incidents, and took away an enormous respect for life, and this is the impetus to what he is doing today.
